Biography

Mr Francis Bardavio Ara graduated from medical school in 1992 at the University of Barcelona in Spain and completed his speciality training in ophthalmology seven years later. He has over 25 years’ experience working as a cataract surgeon.

Mr Bardavio moved to the UK in 2016, to join the team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, St Mary’s in Portsmouth. Passionate about cataract surgery, Mr Bardavio is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and a surgical fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
