Szabolcs Szigethy
After graduating from the Medical School of Szeged in Hungary, Mr Szigethy was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training by the Hungarian National Specialist Board in 1998. He specialises in a range of ear, nose and throat procedures and holds a special interest in the field of digital health.
Biography
Mr Szabolcs Szigethy qualified from Medical School of Szeged, Hungary and was granted his Certificate of Completion of Training by the Hungarian National Specialist Board in 1998 with further specialist training in a Teaching Hospital (Szombathely) and all Hungarian Medical Schools (Debrecen, Pecs, Szeged, Budapest).
Mr Szigethy treats a broad spectrum of ear, nose and throat disorders and conditions, and as a part of this he performs a wide range of procedures, which among others include tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, grommet insertion, and endoscopic sinus surgery, with a special interest in nasal airway surgery.
He is currently studying digital marketing (a master’s program), and he is particularly interested in the field of digital health.

Mr Szigethy has been involved in research into sarcoidosis, a rare condition that if recognised and diagnosed by an ENT surgeon, can be treated well by a chest physician. He was awarded the Markusovszky award for this research work.
Working in a regional centre he was the contributing ENT surgeon of a cooperation with a neurosurgeon in surgery on pituitary gland.
He actively participates regularly in local and international courses (recently in Thessaloniki and Rome) to keep up to date.
